I have a deco M4 set up as a mesh in my home. I was thinking of replacing the deco M4 i use for the main deco, hard wired to my ISP router, for an archer ax5400/ax73.

my question is can this actually be done without having to hardwire the deco m4 into the new ax5400/ax73 router?

so at the moment my set up is ----> ISP router ----> hardwired M4 main deco ----> 3 x wireless M4 mesh

what i want is  ----> ISP router ----> hardwired archer ax5400/ax73 ----> 4 x wireless M4 mesh

i am hoping the archer is a better, stronger, initial broadcaster of the wifi system and it will improve the strength to the deco mesh.
