Model: Deco X90
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.10.3

Hi! I have just installed the Deco X90. I have 10 units and have connected them via multiple switches (TL-SG105E). What I don´t get is if I have to configure them alla so that the guestnet will work everywhere? And if I need to configure them is it the same configuration on all? I have connected the nodes via ethernet cable (sinse the building is really large) and to be able to connect several computers via cable too I had to have the switches. Does anyone know?

@MdHHK

Hi, as long as the 10*Deco X90 are under the same Mesh network, the guest network settings only need to be done once on the APP and the same configuration will be applied to all other Deco units.

But when there are switches involved, there are additional settings, like VLAN tag needed to be done on the switches, such as: How to extend guest network when there is a switch between Decos

And if you have any issues with configuring the VLAN tags to extend the guest network, please feel free to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with a detailed picture of your network layout. (Please mark out the model of all the switches)

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Here is another try on my question on Deco X90 and multiple switches (TL-SG105E). I tried

to set up as in The link but to no use. I only get the messages on the computer (connected via ethernet) ip config problem... The guestnetwork is set up as the link... Does it not work when you are connected to the network with several computers to the switch? I am thinking of replace my switches to unmanaged... Seems to be easier...
