Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 20210121 Rel. 54794

Hello.

I cant get a PC application to access the ports it needs to operate.

I need to open the following UDP Ports: 46100, 46110, 46112, 46114, 46120 and 46122.

Previously, I used a BT Whole Home wifi mesh network, and opened the necessary ports in the Plusnet Broadband Router. All was working OK.

Now having installed the Deco x20, I cant seem to get the ports open and mt application that needs them open, says they are not open.

I belive I have opened the ports in the iPhone Deco App and applied the port mapping to the IP address of the PC needing them open, and fixed the IP to that PC.

I have enclosed screenshots below, to show settings applied.

Not sure now If I stll need to make any other changes to make this work.

Hope someone can assist.

Thanks.

@HSERC

Hi, Have you checked the IPV4 address on Deco the same as the public IP on https://www.whatismyip.com/

By the way, if opening the port once a time, taking 46100 for example, would that make any difference?

Since you have reserved the IP address for PC, have you checked whether this PC got this IP all the time?

Thank you very much.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes, the IP address of the internal device is reserved. For now, I have changed the TP Link into AP mode as This allows the providers router to handle the port forwarding, and I have confirmed this solution works. I may look again at putting the TP link back into Router mode and testing again later.
