Archer - VR2800 or Archer VR2800v?

@PasKy It's the Archer VR2800 V1 (hardware version 1).

 

Hoping to buy a 'Wi-Fi 6' or 'Wi-Fi 6E' modem router if there's one available or due out soon?

 

It needs to be a VDSL modem router like the VR2800, rather than just a 'Wi-Fi 6' or 'Wi-Fi 6E' router.

 

For reference:-

'Wi-Fi 6' (802.11ax) is designed to improve speed, increase wi-fi device battery efficiency and reduce congestion in heavy bandwidth usage scenarios.

'Wi-Fi 6E' is Wi-Fi 6 but also supports the 6GHz wireless spectrum for faster speeds and lower latencies than Wi-Fi 6.

The Archer VR2800 V1 is 'Wi-Fi 5' (802.11ac)

 

Also, anyone know if TP-Link do a plain VDSL modem that works on TalkTalk Internet Service Provider network in the UK?

 

Hi, that I know of the only modem / router that can be suitable for the UK that Tp-link has for your needs (i.e. basically with Annex A protocol) is the VX220-G2v model and it is also a Voip model, but it has nothing to do with Archer 2800 (the VX220-G2v model and Wi-fi 6 AX small and underperforming and not equipped with WPA3 protocol) otherwise there are only routers of all bands and protocols ... Attention if you buy on Amazon Germany, modem routers may have the B / J protocol which does not work in the UK.
