Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20211108 rel.61776

Why do access control rules apply to guest network? This does not make sense to me.

Why do I have to disable access control so that guests can access the net via the guest network?

@Sasquatch88

Thanks for posting on the community.

This has been brought up with the team and they will evaluate the feasibility to optimize the Access Control feature in the future.

Modem: Archer MR600

I have the exact same issue.
I want to secure my network with a white list for access control, and allow guests to connect through the Guest network, so without access control.

The Archer AX50 is an unusable device due to the absence of this essential functionality. You are not able to put this into operation in a few years. Whoever reads this in time, DO NOT BUY this device and choose working products from other companies.
