Hi i recently bought a vr 400 under the advice from my ISP as i started having disconnection issues with my old router, i set up the vr 400 following their guidelines and had a stable connection for about 3 hrs before the disconnections happened again and it has been going on for about 2 days now. My ISP has booked a technician for this thursday but was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and had a solution to it

 

My ISP is Superloops in australia

my WAN connection is Dynamic IP

Before starting with the technical part, did you update the firmware to the latest version for Australia?

It seemed like you have already updated to the latest firmware.

 Have you checked whether the modem has an unstable DSL connection(DSL and internet light might turn off temporarily, then both Ethernet and wireless connection are unstable), or just wireless connection is unstable?
