TD-W8970 freezes requently

I have a TD-W8970 ADSL+ Modem Router

It has been working fine for sometime, and now it freezes frequently

Any idea what can the reason be, where to start diagnosing ?

Hi, firstly, it is suggested to check whether both Ethernet and wireless connection freezes very often.
then please check whether you have updated to the latest firmware.
change the DNS server under Network>WAN settings>Edit>click the small"Advance" settings on the right and set DNS manually to be 8.8.8.8
