Extending WiFi to detached garage
I am planning on moving my home office to my garage - there is currently no internet coverage.
I'd like to try and do this wireless but not sure if this will work or how to do it?
I have used the plugs with Ethernet before through the mains which I can use as an alternative but any help much appreciated.
thanks.

@Andy_A a good mesh kit would solve your problem, or a high-end repeater with OneMesh, if your main router has OneMesh feature then the connection is perfect.

@Andrsouzaaa would the AC750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender & Booster not work then?

@Andy_A It will all depend on the distance, if it's a little too far or if there are some walls as barriers, I speak from experience, I have the RE200, I have the RE450 and the RE650, and I know that the RE200 or RE220 they are a little weak, look for something above them, from RE300 upwards the experience improves well in terms of outreach, and another thing you need to know, always check the LAN port of the repeaters,Fast ports do not pass more than 100Mbps, can be AC750 Dual Band, will not pass more than 100Mbps due to Fast port, always look for repeaters with Gigabit ports, as they did deliver speeds above 100Mbps and a superior range... Hope I helped.

Range extender need to receive Wi-Fi signal from router and repeat WiFI signal, so that requires your home router transmitting powerful signal like 2-3 bars WiFi in garage.
If garage does not have Wi-Fi from router, you need wire extender to main router through Ethernet cable and use it in AP mode:
