Model: Archer VR900
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 160721 Rel.66177n

Home network, BT Infinity FTTC. Normally trouble free until our son visits and uses his iPhone and Mac, all our devices are Windows/Android. When he is here my wife and I frequently lose internet access on our devices while he is working. Needs frequent reboot of the router to restore. He claims it must be the extra devices when he is home but I have disproved that by turning off cameras and Alexa devices, the problem persists and returns to normal when he leaves. As he will be home again for 10 days over Christmas I am looking for suggestions to allow a peaceful holiday!

@Al94

Hi, welcome to the community.

Maybe you could consider enabling the guest network for the 5ghz network only:

How to log into the web-based interface of the AC VDSL/ADSL Modem Router

And Do you have any Apple devices available for a test now?

@TP-Link Thanks for the suggestion, will give that a go. Unfortunately our son is the only person we know who uses Apple devices so will have to wait till the 21st to see if it works!
