Hello

Is there a way to activate the loopback on this model?

If not, which router models with mesh wifi have this loopback option enabled?

Hello, the AX1500 should support NAT Loopback by default. Are you saying it is not working?

May I know who is your ISP? Can you describe the network topology in detail?

When you tried to access the local server from local devices by the WAN IP address, what is the error message? Please show us the screenshot, thanks.

@Kevin_Z

My company is Movistar in Spain, it supports loopback. The router that the company gives me supports it and I can enter without problem (It is the one I have now installed because I had to remove tplink for this reason). When I tried to access my local server through tplink I got the error that I could not access the page.

I had set the router with the 3 Movistar Vlan and it worked without problem except for this issue of the loopback, for this reason I had to remove the AX1500 router and replace the ISP (HGU Mitrastar) router.

While asking the engineering team to investigate this issue, may I confirm why do you need to access the local servers in the local network via its WAN IP? Can you please be kind to explain then we can understand the issue better? Thank you.

Hello.

Yes, I have a home automation server mounted with raspberry, which I have now paired with Amazon Alexa to link the devices, the problem is that for Alexa to connect with the raspberry (through its custom skill) it is necessary to have loopback since the connection is I do from duckdns, let's say that alexa leaves the duckdns domain and returns to the local raspberry and there is no connection.

If I try to access my server from a local computer through duckdns, it doesn't make the connection either, I have to enter through the local IP of the device and that doesn't work for me.

When doing a tracert on the duckdns domain this does not solve it either. However, with the operator's router, it suits me perfectly.

(The AX1500 had it directly connected, with the Movistar 3Vlan configured and connected directly to an ONT)

Thank you for your detailed explanation. Can I confirm again if the network layout is as below?

Movistar ONT (in bridge mode) >>>AX1500 (runs as the gateway router and DHCP server)

What is the WAN IP address on the AX1500? Be sure that is a public one.

The installation I tried this way

Movistar HGU ONT (Bridge)> AX1500 (with active DHCP)

Since it didn't work, I got a Huawei Ont and connected it like this:

ONT HG8310M> AX1500 with 3vlan by movistar

It didn't work either way. The IP is Public in both cases

Thank you for all the detailed information. We would like to escalate your case to our engineers, the engineering team will investigate to see if it is a concern in the router that can be resolved.
