Firmware Version:

Bonjour,

Merci.

Hello, as far as I can confirm, the router will not block any mDNS traffic in the network. Can I have a detailed network layout of the network? How are the routers connected to the network?

There are cases we may need to configure static routing on the router, you can check which case you are in:

@Kevin_Z

hi,

the network is basic, a FAI box with NAT, so lan printer and server are on 192.168.1.x.

The AX55 is 192.168.1.100 wan side and 192.168.0.x for wifi connected products.

Wifi stuff on 192.168.0.x doesn't see bonjour printer or server.

i let the AX55 in router mode because i need parental controls.

Best regards

Gerard

Hello Gerard, you need to either change the FAI box into bridge mode or change the AX50 into AP mode if you want all the client devices communicate with each other.

If that is the case, I guess you will need to connect those servers or printers to the AX50 directly, as the mDNS traffic can only be transferred within a single IP subnet.
