Dear all
I have setup my RE450 in AP mode and it works flawlessly. Only thing that I do not understand is that it provides two separate networks, one for 2.4 GHz and another for 5.8GHz. I cannot find a way to set it up as dual band AP with one single SSID. What am I missing?

You could try to use 'Tether app' to change Wireless settings, and set the same SSID for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi.

Or you could login web page using RE's IP address, it will get an IP address from router which could found on router's device list, and login web page of range extender to change wireless settings. Here is an guide for that to login web page:

Thank you, I have configured everything via Browser, changed to WPA2 and AES, etc. If I understand you correctly, setting identical SSIDs for both 2.4 and 5.8 will automatically make it dual band?

Setting the same SSIDs for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and 5Ghz you will have single SSID in the hous. Actually there are still two separate Wi-Fi signals, but nowadays device could save the credentials and roam between the two signal when signal gets weak.
