Is it a good idea to upgrade the firmware on the M9 Plus to 1.5.1?

I just bought used Deco pack. It's working perfectly, but I notice that it ahs the old firmware (1.2.11) from 2019, and the deco app says to me that it's up to date. Yet, the TP Link website indicates that the newest version is 1.5.11 for V2.
Normally, I would just go through the steps and install it, but I've read too many horror stories of people regretting the firmware updates of 1.5 or 1.5.1 on their M9 decos. Dropped signals, weird pinging, flashing red leds, etc.
I guess I would lie to know if those issues have been resolved and if I should go ahead with the update or not.
TP Link's own replies here to various concerns were that they would have Senior Engineers look into things, but as far as I know the firmware version currently offered is the same as the one that created problems. So, I'm confused...
I have pair of Deco M9 Plus that run on firmware 1.5.1: Main Deco and Satellite Deco wirelessly connected to Main. My Deco mesh runs in Access Point mode. I have not had any issues with that version of firmware.
If you are happy with what you have, there is no reason to upgrade. With Deco, firmware upgrade can't be rolled back. If firmware upgrade breaks something for you, you'll be stuck with it.
As for me, I upgraded mine to 1.5.1 when it became available. This is what I have now:
When TP-Link releases firmware 1.6 for M9 Plus, I plan to upgrade my Deco units with it.
