Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.7.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 210313 Rel.74106n

I need some help please.  My Archer VR2800 keeps dropping the entire 2.4GHz network, which has all my home's smart switches and 2 x airport expresses connected.  I read other posts which told me to switch the channel from auto to 1 and 20MHz, which I did and saved it and the system worked again, but within minutes, it disappeared again.  All devices are dropping, but when I refresh, I sometimnes see a device connected to the 2.4GHz.  That device is an Apple Airport Express, but its light shows it is not connected.  Refresh again and nothing.  If I hit save on the advanced tab wireless settings, I get full 2.4GHz back for maybe a minute, then - you guessed it.

Also, sometimes when I save the settings I get an Error: 80002.

Sorry if I'm not making much sense, but I am not a tech.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Canvas_Town

Hi, how long have you had the modem? Did this issue start since you purchased the modem?

May I know how many 2.4ghz clients do you have in total?

As for the Error code:80002, when you get the code, can you still save the changed settings?

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Thanks for getting back to me.  After checking with support at TP-Link, I found that the modem was faulty and they issued an RMA to have it replaced.
