Model: RE505X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 20210223 Rel. 192200

I am trying to update the firmware of my RE505X but keep getting "Unable to connect to the cloud server. Please try again later." I have tried hours and days later but still the same message. This wouldn't be a problem if I could download the firmware however the South African website does not have a download section.

Trying other countries you get a warning if you try to download from that site. Why doesn't the South Africa site have a download option.

I have asked TP-Link directly but they do not answer.

@Solla-topee The link you sent for the firmware upgrade did work, however the question remains, why is there no firmware download option on the South African web site.

@EHM Glad to hear that you were able to upgrade the firmware.

It normally takes some time to coordinate with different teams and update the firmware, I can see that they are working on that now.
