Model: Archer VR1200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: last

Hello Community,

I have struggled for more than two hours trying to understand how to correctly open some ports of my Archer VR1200.

After many trials I am able to open port for remote maintenance (so 80 and 443) and I have doubled checked with online port checker (and remote connection to admin page). This imply that my ip is public so no problem from ISP.

All other attempts to open ports from internal ip address failed.

Double checked the correct interface

Tried all the possible combinations for NAT, Firewall, etc...

I am starting to think that is a firmware bug.

Can you advice me?

Thanks, Lorenzo

@Slore992

Hi, Sorry for the delay.

Is your current firmware version:

Archer_VR1200_v1_1.0.0_0.8.0_v600e.0_Build_190919_Rel.55271n

if yes, we have tested on the sample modem router, the port forwarding works fine.

And I happen to see there is a 3-pack Deco X60 under your TP-Link ID, did you connect X60 behind the VR1200 and connect NAS to X60?

I have sent my email address via private message and could you please send me your port forwarding configurations on our products?

Thank you very much.
