Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20210719 rel. 12163

Hi,

i've set up my sons devices with a profile and just realised that the blocking of adult content doesn't work.
I've set up Pre-teen that should prevent adult content. Realised that he could spend some time on Pornhub.com anyway. So, I manually added the url for the site (both with and without www). It still doesn't help. He can still reach the site.

So, one of the USP:s for this router (the great homecare parts - like the parental controls seems not to work. Is there a bug fix for this in the release pipeline (to be out in the near future) or is this "how it should work"?

i've seen several posta about this functionality isn't working, so I assume that this is a known bug that Tp-link is working on - since it's a great feature that, if it works, is amking a difference.

So, when wilm this be fixed? I don't want to buy another router - but if this is not to be fixed I see no other option.

Thanks for any input there is to get this fixed.

Depending on the devices you're setting up, the issue might be similar to the one in this thread.

If that's the case you can follow this FAQ to mitigate that.

@terziyski

Thanks! That seems to be the issue.

Tested it and now it seems to work.

To bad you can't use the "private" setting on the "new" versions of iOS, it's a great feature. But I just have to remember to switch it on and off when my son wants to use his device on other wifi networks.

Thanks again for the helpful (& fast) response!

This setting is per network, so if he connects to other wireless network, the private address will be active unless he switch that off for that particular network.
