AX11000 router cannot connect to Singtel broadband
Hi,
I just bought AX11000 router for my Singtel broadband internet.
However, the router cannot connect to the Singtel modem.
Calling Singtel hotline, and they refer me to TP link customer service, but you know the state of the TP Link customer service, so I write this message.
Please provide, what setting has to be done on the router so I can connect to the model.
Singtel just told me that it has to be connected with Dynamic IP.
Other than that, they advice me to ask TP Link.

Firstly I would like to feedback on TP Link customer service.
People that buy this modem is definitely has some basic knowledge to setup the router at the very least.
Thus suggestion to make sure there is internet connection and connecting with the Ethernet cable etc seem very stupid.
I manage to resolve the issue myself.
I hope you can pin this in your QnA section for others that have the same issue.
Solution:
1. Setup as per instruction from TPLink.
2. When setting up the Internet Connection Type, choose Dynamic IP for Singtel and leave everything as default.
3. At this stage, the Status of the router will be showing "Connecting"
4. Choose IPTV/VLAN under Network in Advence setting
5. Enable IPTV/VLAN and choose the mode as Singapore Singtel
6. Save the setting and the router can be connected to the ONT from Singtel.

Firstly, make certain you do have internet access when connecting the computer directly to the Singtel modem.
Secondly, start with the physical. Make sure the Ethernet cable going from the Singtel modem to the AX11000 is working, check to see if the LED light is lit up. If the light does light up but it is red then you likely are dealing with MAC Binding (especially if your ISP is cable). If that is the case try this.
If this does not help please provide more details and pictures of your setup so we can try to help further.

Thank you very much for sharing the solution with the community.
It's suggested to edit the title of the thread to be like [Solution] AX11000 router cannot connect to Singtel broadband, which will be easier for other users to find it. We will then pin the thread to the front.
