-AX6600 (AX90) Wi-Fi 6 Router EU V1

-RE550 EU V1

-AX5400 (AX73)  Wi-Fi 6 Router EU V1

-Country: EU (ireland)

Would love to use the AX73 and RE550s wired in AP mode and with Onemesh enabled.

Ethernet backhaul is a must for a mesh network. Had to send back an RE606 because assumed OneMeshxwill be working via wthethernet. :(( AX20 EU v1.0 Firmware v1.3.7 Latest build, rel. 77059

18 months to evaluate this and nothing has been done yet? No backhaul for OneMesh is such a deal breaker. Might as well have Orbi.

  @Solla-topee

Hi, It would be great if you told us if this feature is not coming or not?

It's ok if its not coming, we can move on and find our own solutions :-) 18 months is long enough, you should know if this under development or not.

Thanks,

Dan

  @Solla-topee

It's likely TP-Link will never support Ethernet Backhaul on OneMesh devices. That's fine, they have their reasons.

But TP-Link should at least clearly state in it's OneMesh product and promotional materials Ethernet Backhaul is not currently supported.

Today I'll be returning my just purchased TP-Link AXE5400 and TP-Link AC1900 devices. Notify me if Ethernet Backhaul on OneMesh ever gets supported, and I'll revisit purchasing appropriate TP-Link devices.

Thanks,

Deensba

  @Solla-topee

It's been a very long time since this feature is "under evaluation". Can we have some updates on this topic?

I have TP-LINK ARCHER AX55 AX3000 and TP-Link RE705X. When I bought both devices I thought RE will work seamlessly using OneMesh and Ethernet Backhaul (because it's on the box "OneMesh compatible").

I'm still waiting and not sure if I should wait any longer or just go with another brand
