  @Solla-topee

I have AX55, with RE505x and RE215. Would be good to see ethernet backhaul feature so that wifi signal is not congested and not having to jump over two extenders. My wifi speed is almost twice as fast when I use AP mode on RE. Due to a wall separating my router and extenders, wifi would always drop and reconnect as I move from one area to another. Super frustrating!!

One mesh feature with a second router would be nice as well.

Perhaps TL -link just want their customers to switch to Deco and buy a whole new hardware. Thinking of just moving away from TP-link for good.

I bought an RE505X thinking I would use the ethernet backhaul for performance. Please implement this feature.

@Solla-topee +1 Using One Mesh on Archer A6 and C6 with the help of RE220's. Would love Creating a One Mesh network with the help of Ethernet Backhaul for faster connectivity.

@Solla-topee As like many others, I also bought these products assuming this feature was available. Please seriously consider this feature.

I got severals RE330 V1 and RE500X V1 and 4 routers (EU v.)

I cant wait for this feature! Its taking too long for sure.

+1 for this feature request. Recently purchased the Wifi Rage Extender just to learn it does not support ethernet blackhaul and this is frustrating.

Hardware Version: RE605X v2.0

Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20211118 Rel. 43532

Country: India

I bought my router specifically cause I thought the open mesh ecosystem supported this already.
My last router was a standard mesh router and it supported Ethernet Backhaul but a slower CPU so I needed to upgrade.
Most modern homes have house wide Ethernet, this feature would allow much better speeds and coverage along with better handoff of wifi devices.

Unlike access point that require its own device name and passwords, along with most devices not changing connections until it had fully lost connection from an existing source.

Im highly for an ethernet backhaul.

@Solla-topee Yes, please consider adding backhaul with OneMesh on OneMesh Range Extenders in Access Mode.  One more good feature would be to have POE on the backhaul range extenders even if you create a different AX OneMesh model to accomplish this task.

Hi

I bought TP-LINK Archer AX73 + TP-LINK RE605x thinking that the Ethernet backhaul for OneMesh is one of the options like for Asus AiMesh Extenders.

Please add this functionality. Its pretty basic stuff that should be there. Until now I preferred Tp-Link but this is kind of a deal breaker...... Deco is not good choice for everyone.. it lacks multiple Ethernet ports, it needs a place to stand etc.
