Firmware Version : 3.13.31 Build 130319 Rel.57876n

I have a WDR4300 which works perfect with all devices in my house, but in my personal notebook (samsung 530U4B) wireless transfer speed is very slow in 2.4 GHz mode. 5.0 ghz works fine.
I've tried everything, but I can not get good performance. at this moment I have to use a 741nd working with my wdr4300 in wds mode to use 2.4 ghz band properly.
any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks, and sorry if my english is not very good

1. If other devices are working fine expect the your personal computer, try downloading and installing updated drivers for the wireless adapters on your laptop.

2. Try changing channels on the wireless router.. Sometimes, wireless computers have a preference for a specific channel.. The default channel is usually 6. To avoid interference, channels 1, 6, and 11 seem to work best. Try one of these three that is different than your current setting..
3.When your personal computer working with TL-WR741ND, is there any problem? Is it possible that the signal strength is the cause of problem?

thanks for the reply, I have tried every point, update the wireless adapter drivers, try selecting different channels and settings, with the 741nd I have no problem, signal strength is good in WDR4300.
I think it's an incompatibility with the wireless adapter (Intel Centrino Avanced N6230) and the wdr4300.
when I have time I will try to install a linux partition and test if it's a hardware or software problem.

Sorry bro. Throw this junk away like I did. Buy a good router even if its costly. Not from companies like TPLink but Linksys or Dlink or their likes. They make standard products.

Linksys? The old Cisco subsidiary resold yesterday to Belkin and tomorrow to TP-Link...

Linksys actually has 30% of the U.S market. Belkin is really terrible. And so is TP-Link.

Without the 3rd party firmwares, the Linksys products are not better or cheaper.
Linksys has the great chance that DD-WRT, Tomato or OpenWrt exist because their own firmwares are horrible..
