Hi guys, im having the same problem..
When i try to connect to my WLAN through the AP it asks for username and password.
I have gone over the security settings of my router and they match the settings of the AP but still no luck...
And i have tried putting in admin admin for username and passwd but it doesnt work.
What can be done to fix this problem?

1. Check the security type, make sure it is not WPA/WPA2. For soho clients, you need select WPA/WPA2-Personal or WPA/WPA2-PSK. 2.If the TP-LINK is working as a repeater, make the security type exactly the same with your existing router.

Yeap i have made sure of that countless times!
both use WPA2/PSK security with the exact same password and AES encryption.
I have even tried a firmware upgrade to 3.12.6 and still nothing...
Its driving me insane!! haha

I managed to solve this, mainly by accident.

The problem was caused by the APs LAN IP (192.168.1.254) being in the same subnet (192.168.1.0) as the wireless network to which it was connecting.

When the APs LAN IP was set to an address outside the subnet devices already part of the wireless network started connecting to the AP automatically.
