nyt1972 on the other thread post #2 here
http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?3303-TL-WA5210G-High-Power-Wireless-Outdoor-CPE-problem-with-Ethernet®ion=china i posted about the POE, on this thread post #6 i wanted to be sure what POE to use in case of replace and called TP-LINK support, what they answered was strange to me thats why my post starts with
amazing answer
but in my country this is what TP-lLINK answered
if YOU have tried another POE, not that you read or someone told you, post, brand and model for the knowledge of all, the forum its for us, and we are the only ones that can enrich the forum.
on #10 you posted its not the POE then post the solution to your issue.
share the information.

Hi Danymarc
I encountered a similar issue just like what you encountered before and the problem was caused by the LAN
cable. We used a non branded LAN cable. After switching to a good quality LAN cable, it worked ok. The LAN
cable that we have now is 60 meters in length.
As the bundled passive POE module, I think this is a proprietary POE module specially designed for the
TL-WA5210G (and other TP-Link TL-WAx01ND products). Using other types of POE will not work with the
TL-WA5210G (just like what TP-Link support has also replied to my inquiry).
Good luck.

what brand cat5?
2013-05-14 21:16:03
I have a 130 foot run of Cat 5 that runs other PoE devices just fine, but TP-Link TL-WA5210G doesn't work because the cable is 'non-branded'? So what brand does it have to be?

and if you already use a switch with PoE?
Would be easier if I can use the power of my switch to get them running instead of the "bundled passive POE module"-injector
