Hi All,

I am having a problem with a recent installation of some home plug adapters.

I have installed 4 200Mbps wireless adapters (TL-WAP271) into my home and all was work well when i completed the setup, but within less then a hour the speed seemed to grind to a halt. It will then rectify its self after around 10 minutes and go back to the normal speed. This will happen many times a day making them unusable.

Would be very grateful for any suggestions on how to solve this problem.

how about the speed if you connect your PC to the WPA271 with cables?
If there's high power home appliance working within the same circuit it would also affect the Powerline adapter’s performance.

Hi Chocolate and thanks for the very quick response.

Yes the same happens if im connected wirelessly or wired.

Iv had a similar setup with devlo home plugs for a few years (but only had 2 on the circuit) without any problem from any other appliances. What kind of appliances would affect the powerlines so i can try to trouble shoot if ones of these is the issue?

Some machines like air conditioner, washing machine.
and you can also try to put the two adapters closer or into the same extension lead and test the internet.
