Hi, I have a TL-PA4010P Kit and a 300 Mbps range extender.

On one side of the house, I connected the powerline to the router with ethernet cable.

On the other side, I connected the powerline to a 300 Mbps range extender (TPlink WA850RE), using an ethernet cable.

When I try to setup the Range Extender in Tether, it only asks me what Wifi Network I'd like to connect to.

How to make the Range Extender recognize it's getting internet via ethernet? Or is it even possible?

From your description I believe you wish to use the WA850RE extender in AP mode.

If that's the case follow your user guide chapter 4.2 => 4.2.1

Try using a computer when doing the configuration.
