5ghz network from my Archer A6 is not connecting to my extender with Smart connect function ON. After disabling Smart connect function and by keeping wifi channel as 44 manually, then 5ghz signal from my Archer A6 will connect with RE300. So at present iam unable to use Smart connect function with Mesh facility with my RE300

@Anoopdas Good day, 
May I know the country version of your range extender? As  EU version range extender does not support Band4 channel 149-165 which accords to CE certification.
With Smart Connect enabled on router, router will select a channel on router  automatically, if it is on Band 4 channels , range extender not able to see the 5Ghz. 
You could download WiFi analyzer APP and check which channel the router is using, and select a less crowded channel for router among Band1-Band3 (Band 1 channel 36/40/44/48 are recommended as Band2-3 are DFS channel and could be unstable)

Yes..My extender is eu version and tp link archer A6 always selects channel 149 on Auto mode. I kept channel 44 manually and enabled smart connect and it again changed to channel 149 automatically.
