Undated both units to latest firmware. Our issue is when I unplug the main unit from my modem router, via Ethernet cable.. both units turn red. How can I disconnect from modem router, that needed to be plugged in for original setup and still have white lights showing we are connected?
Hi, the main Deco has to be connected to the ISP modem/router via Ethernet cable all the time.
So if you wanted to wirelessly connect it to the main modem router, maybe a wireless range extender would be much better.
