Hello all,

 

I have an issue with trying to connect my T4U adapter to any 5GHz connections. When I try to connect, I notice that my adapter will sometimes disconnect as if it has been unplugged, and then reappear as if it was plugged in again. Once I am connected to my 5GHz connection, I tend to get about 10 sections of good speed before even web browsing is almost impossible.

 

I have a TP-Link Archer C6 (also JP version) and I have also tried another D-Link router. Both have the same problem. I did read that the Onemesh on the A6 might be causing issues. Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried to find a solution on my own for weeks now.

 

I am using a 64 bit version of Windows 10.

Thank you for reporting the issue and sharing case solution yesyes

This may be related to Smart Connect Feature on some router, Smart Connect will automatically select a 5Gh channel for router, while most Wi-Fi adapter supports Band1 5Ghz channel 36/40/44/48 . Users who met the same issue could also try to turn off Smart Connect off and try 36/40/44/48 channels on router and see if that helps:
