@David-TP since I updated my 4 deco M5 to 1.7.0 I experience a lot of devices disconnecting then reconnecting.
I tried to restore settings for these devices (because I disabled mesh and specified where they have to connect which fixed these kind of issue on firmware 1.6) but issue percist.
So yes, I can confirm there are a lot of issues with this firmware, I hop a new firmware will be available soon.

Hello @David-TP ,
Since I updated my Deco to this latest version (1.7.0) my VPN connection doesn't work anymore. Could you pls inform how to rollback to the previous one OR when do you expect to release the next version with the needed fix?

Yeah I was surprised because the firmware has been removed from the website. All my M5's have been upgraded to 1.7.0. I even have reconfigured all my IoT devices to new "IoT Network" with different SSID. On Deco app I can see the devices are seem connect and disconnected, but based on my local smokeping apparently they are connected just fine.
But most notable bug is that now I am unable to use Deco app remotely/via internet.
I really hope whoever/whatever team in charge for QA really, really, do their job before releasing the firmware.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the APP log:
@MarceloMR Hi, welcome to the community.
Can I have more details about your current issue?
What kind of VPN service do you use, like OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

I'm using OpenVPN (via Windows 10 profile). When I toggle from Wi-Fi to mobile 4G coverage, the VPN runs smoothly.

@David-TP I wanted to confirm and thank you for this info as this was the trick and it now working. Thanks!
EDIT: this didn't seem to include the info I was replying to :
Hi, I have seen a similar setup:
Modem > M5 (Main) >--cable--CPE210(AP mode))))---WiFi bridge---(((CPE210 (client mode)>---cable--- M5 (Satellite)
Then satellite M5 is ok to create an Ethernet Backhaul.
So I think you might need a pair of CPE210s to build a wireless bridge in order to create the Ethernet Backhaul.

I upgraded my two M5's to 1.7.1 last week. Update went fine and everything is fine. They are with ethernet backhaul. New features are also good stuff, Eco Mode and isolating IoT devices from other local network.
My 5 year ole devices still rock! Thank you TP-Link.
