- 1.6.1 firmware will be gradually released to different areas and if currently it could not be detected on the Deco APP, you could wait for a while or a firmware upgrade via web UI is recommended.

6. Added a prompt when the Ethernet link rate goes down to 100Mbps.
7. Added schedule and bandwidth limit to guest network under Deco App > More > Wi-Fi > Guest Network.
8. When configuring Deco for the first time, you can choose to establish an IPv6 connection directly.

I hope you can help. I've 4 X M5 units (3 V1's and 1 v3) . They've been working flawlessly for a good while, but since the last firmware update I'm having serious issues with DHCP addresses being issued.
It happens most days when I get up and open my work laptop. It either won't connect at all, or will give an error that it couldn't be assigned a DHCP / IP Address. It happens on my Pixelbook and on my wifes new Macbook Pro. I've also got a few smart devices that won't connect. I had to reboot the whole network again today to get connected (devices that already online are fine, but it's ones looking for new IP addresses that are having issues).
Can you please advise if this is a known issue and if there's a fix for it.
There's loads of IP addresses left to be used so it's not that they've run out or anything.

Hi Tony,
Feel you pain as I was in exactly the same place. Tried doing daily reboots and still no change.
I did change to the new beta firmware about a week ago and things have been more stable. You shoulf give that a try.

Hi, Have you tried to separately log into the web UI of each M5 with 0525 to upload the 0816 beta individually?
The IP address of each M5 could be found on the Deco APP directly.
It is also suggested to connect to the WiFi or Ethernet of this Deco directly when performing a firmware upgrade.

Anyone having the an issue with the internet speed after upgrading to the official version? For both official version my internet speed is slowing down significantly. My internet speed is 300mbps. I am getting this speed when I am connected to the main deco. But when I connect to the other ones I am only getting round 20 to 30 mpbs.
Can anyone help me with this please

@TP-Link Same Question - Any update on when we can expect the update to be rolloed out? I've tried the app and the web interface for new updates and it says 1.6.0 is still the most up to date one.

I live in Brazil and I was able to update to 1.6.1 version but only after installing the new DECO Android app. In this forum look for "Deco APP 3.0" topic and you will have to download the apk aside from Playstore and install it manually.

You can download it manually then access your main deco web interface (its ip address on any web browser), login with your deco account information and update manually the firmware under Advanced-> System -> Firmware upgrade
