@TP-Link Are you planning to update also the firmware of the M4? When could we expect that to happen? I have 4 m4 decos and desperatly need the ability to manually select the source signal.

@DavidTp Just echoing the same issues regarding 1.60.
I have 12 * Deco M5 V1s and for years they have all worked perfectly. Soon as 1.6 was installed, it's been non stop issues. I am constantly having to reboot the network, clients won't connect, performance is degraded.

I am facing the same issues. I have 6x M5 v3 and since I've updated to latest version I am getting devices disconnections, issues for connecting new ones and degradated performance.

Welcome to the community.
Can I have more details about the degraded performance?
And what are the clients that won't connect to the Wi-Fi anymore, or are frequently disconnected from the internet?
A description with full details would be most appreciated. Don't worry about too many words, which might provide some useful information.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@David-TP Hi! Would it be possible to get a beta firmware for P7 as well? I have a couple of M5s and P7s in parallel, and it would be great to get all devices up to date.
Based on this Reddit thread, it should be simple to get the firmware to work with P7. https://www.reddit.com/r/TpLink/comments/w2oq96/tplink_deco_p7_is_not_dead_m5_firmware_can_revive/

After updating M5 firmware to 1.6.0, main Deco looses LAN connection every day once, which didn't happen with earlier firmware 1.5.3. Would be nice to get updates without loosing stability.
My main router has following event logs related to this (?).

@TP-Link Did the upgrade to 1.6.0 about a week ago. Since then a lot of issues: sudden drops in connectivity. I wish TP-link hadn't released this as a stable build :( I use this professionaly and it't really a big issue not to be able to do decent teams / webex calls ... I wish there was a way to downgrade.

@TP-Link Since I upgraded to 1.6.0 I have one unit that may have gone bad, I think, unless someone has a suggestion. It keeps connecting and disconnecting from other units in my network, but always has a green light indicating internet connectivity even if not connected to backhaul via ethernet cable(i.e. completely wirelessly) Says it is disconnected from other Decos, and it is in that state more than a connected state. I have removed it, reset it, and added it to the network again, pushed the 1.6.0 firmware again, and tested it has a separate network router, which appears to work. But as an AP on the network, it does not communicate with the rest of the units, for very long. Even when I reset it and added it again, it finds the unit quick enough, but I have to keep hitting the retry to add it to the network, it eventually will add it and shows it connected to other units, but then shortly after that goes to the disconnected state. Any Ideas, or do I have a unit that has just gone bad? It a version 1.0
