@TP-Link
Can You help with other Decos firmware with disabling DHCP in AP mode ?
I've got 2x M4R and 2x P9 , and huge problem with "smart DHCP" , which override my DHCP server on main router (working with no problems for 2 weeks).
thanks

Thank you for your detailed message.
The model of the camera is: Egardia CAM-08AI.
I didn't try to disable "Mesh Technology".
Tested for a while on the WiFi of my router (not including the decos).
They will stay online there. However, that does not provide enough coverage.
I have therefore installed network cables and that solved the problem.
For the rest, the decos work fine with the new update, only the cameras had problems with the new firmware of the decos (the old firmware was fine).
Greetings Kees.

Just another question, will it be possible in the future to give the deco m5 systems a fixed ip address in ap mode?

JanRekenaar Hi, the release note" Improved system reliability and security", does not refer to a specific security fix and just some software components have been upgraded to enhance the system security.
knorde Thanks for the update.
When Deco is on AP mode, you could try to set an address reservation on the front main router to get a fixed IP address for Deco.

On The main router DHCP server (pfSense) I've set fixed IP leases for each Deco MAC Address.
Works perfectly, each Deco with an IP Easy to remember.
Best Regards.

@David-TP Hi David, do you have any updates on the bugs concerning the camera’s that lose connection and the smart switches that lose connection? Are these things being investigated by engineers, and if so, will there be an update 1.6.1 soon? Regards
