It is suggested to wait on the official release for 1.6.0 firmware:

@Kingdaveontour1 Couldn't agree more, I'm fed up of being on this beta now! 😒 We need a update from the TP-LINK !

Honestly, I'm very disappointed in TP-Link. Many friends have migrated to Unify/Ubiquiti solutions, and are extremely pleased with the change.
I'm already planning my migration too.

Yeah it's the same with my surroundings.
I am also not satisfied. I have overall been pleased by tp-link products over the years. But the rate of updates / features are to slow coming. I have been watching the other brands getting massive over haul of features while it takes a long time for to-link to introduce some few things. For the price of their top products like x60/x90 I can get way more if switching to e.g UniFi for that money. It's a shame really. As people have been loyal and informing over the years, but it's not taken seriously. Just like with this beta setup or what ever to call it.

Yes I agree. Updates are very slow here. I see other vendors offering more management and more controls to their customers. Something I don't see on TP-Link.
I have already started my network migration project. I chose Unify as a replacement for my equipment. I called customer support and was very well attended by them. They gave me special attention, something I've never seen on TP-link.

It is the strangest beta test I've seen:
- Since the beginning, I've read all posts of the topic and no other version than the first has been released. Beta1 but no beta2 which fixes the Beta1 issues;
- Another point which make me worry is it does not look like users report their issue has been fixed, or a very litle number.
Can we have an idea of the progression of this beta?
I feel realy esitating to update when seeing that.
I like beta-testing but in this case things are not sure at all. Nothing is sure in beta-tests but usualy we know where we go...
