I have the painful issue with not being able to connect to closest signal source -
@DB-IE Hi, from my experience with Deco mesh, I've found that the moment you start browsing or streaming from the client device, it's at that point that it will switch to the closer node and then, only if it deems the previous node too weak.
The thing with Decos is that their coverage is sometimes underestimated and in some cases the nodes are positioned too close and also more nodes installed than actually needed to work efficiently, try moving your M4/E4's further apart or even eliminating one and evening out the positioning.

Hi, you have updated to the 1.6.0 firmware already and it could not be downgraded to 1.5.7 anymore.
May I know why did you want to downgrade the firmware?

I want to assign static IP for my devices in AP mode? Are there any way to do that?
Otherwise, if I use Router mode, can I disable DHCP? because M5 in Router mode always assign to other subnet.
For example: my router 192.168.1.x, I set M5 ip is 192.168.1.2, and all devices connected to M5 are 192.168.2.x (I want all devices also is 192.168.1.x).
Thank you!

Custom DNS not working,
I tried to change it into my private dns (adguard on Raspi) 10.0.0.88 and deco will automaticaly hang, auto reboot, and change my deco IP 10.0.0.1 into 192.168.x.x.
So the DNS has to be "obtain DNS Automatically: on"
I don't have this problem with previous firmware.
So I can't use adguard dns at this moment.

Hi, I am afraid it is not due to the new firmware.
Deco does not allow WAN DNS on the same IP range of LAN IP address, which will cause IP conflict, and Deco will reboot and change the LAN IP address.
I am not sure why it did not happen on the previous firmware.
But if you want to use the adguard DNS, it is suggested to change under Deco APP>More>Advanced>DHCP, such as:
How to use Pi-Hole DNS Server on TP-Link routers?

Now it works like a charm based on your suggestion.
I never take a look at DNS setting under DHCP, because it always works with the previous firmware & setting.
Thank you.
