Unable to get the speed of 300 mbps though i updraded my plan from the service provider

If the model of the router is Archer C20, it should be equipped with 5 10/100 Mbps, 1× 10/100 Mbps WAN Port and 4× 10/100 Mbps LAN Ports, that is going to be a bottleneck for you, it would be better to upgrade to something with a 1GB port if you get a speed of 300Mbps.
