Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 20210513 rel.63256(5553)

My New Archer C6 V3.20 (US Version) Takes 10 to 20 minutes to connect to PPPoE after boot,

Also ping delay seems to be 3 times higher & often simple page loads after a delay.

It was fine with my Previous Router TP-Link TL-WR840N V2.0

and coverage range also didn't improve that much.

I'm using a local ISP and port is connected via optical fiber to Ethernet converter.

It was setup with Quick Setup, Wireless is set to Smart Connect using same SSID for both 2.4GHz & 5GHz.

Firmware was updated.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

@Mazhar

May we know who is your ISP? Please show us the whole system log on the Archer C6 for reference, do include the PPPoE dial-up process, thanks.

@Kevin_Z

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

My ISP is a local Bangladeshi provider named Empowering Net epnet.

Please find the attached log file.

It seems that when this delay happens the router does not log PPPoE dial up. and when it connects immediately then dial up is logged.

Thank you again.
