Hi all,

Is it possible to get 5ghz from the signal source?

Currently im the app, my slave unit shows that it is only receiving a 2.4ghz from my main unit. I have already turned off the 2.4ghz band in the wifi setting.

Is there a way for my main unit to project 5ghz out?

Many thanks

@Ben123xyz

The Deco should prefer to use 5ghz for backbone, however its worth noting that 5ghz is a LOT more susptable to interference when compared to 2.4ghz

At a guess, the distance or walls/interference between the Primary and Secondary node is too much for 5ghz, therefore its defaulting to the stronger, better penetrating 2.4

Try moving the node closer to temporarily test this, even in the same room
