I am trying to get a windows 7 laptop to connect to a TD-W8970. Can anybody offer some configuration suggestions or provide a guide to get this done??

This router can be used to set site-to-site VPN, but it cannot be a VPN sever. To connect a windows 7 computer to it through VPN, you have to use another router and configure VPN with TD-W8970.
