@Kevin_Z

Catch up this bug again.....  with disabled one mesh

after jumping around router and 4 type cables - router up 1000mb \s for 3-4 min and drops to 100mb\s

talking with ISP - on they switch port many errors when this situations applied (they changed cable to my door)

Downgraded firmware to ax11000v1-up-ver1-1-1-P1[20200716-rel84595]_sign_2020-07-17_11.35.11 (flash + factory reset + hand configs)

1000mb\s UP momently, without drops.

continue observe for situation, by my feelings router need working about month to take bug again , idk why.

Thank you for the update. Can I know what kind of cables are you using between the ISP modem and the AX11000 WAN, cat5e, cat6, or cat7? Please monitor the negotiation speed and let me know if the issue will be resolved or not.

@Kevin_Z

cat5e,

Same story as last time - when WAN port catch errors (internet status says "poor network" and drops to 100mb), LAN UP to 1000mb\s, and working,

In "bugtime" try connect by cat7 cable - router WAN - my PC (1000mb\s lan) - and .... it says 1000mb for 3 min and drops to 100mb\s

maybe this is due to a more aggressive way to connect to 2500mb\s? because - Lan1-Lan4 - not subject to this bug

And I want update firmware to newest.... I request WAN port reassignment to lan1 for example.

Thank you very much for the follow-up. Please report the issue to the support engineers directly, as I can see the case had been escalated to them already months ago. They will provide further suggestions.

@Kevin_Z

router -c6 v 2.0

firmware upated

my plan is 200mbps

Tried changing the cable  and setting the negotiating speed to 1000 mbps

it shows that connected lan is at 1000 mbps full duplex but still the speed is capped at 100 mbps

when moden is directly connected to laptop using the same cable(cat 6) the speed is aroung 195mbps

Do you mean the laptop is connected to the LAN4 port with the same cat 6 cable? Try connecting another PC or laptop with a Gigabit Ethernet adapter to the LAN4 port, then confirm if it can negotiate at 1000Mbps.

It's also suggested to try with a different cat 6 cable between the router LAN port and the client device.

BTW, when did you purchase the Archer C6, and when does the issue happen? You can try resetting the router to factory defaults and connect a device to the LAN4 port again, login to its web GUI to check if it can negotiate at 1000Mbps by default.

@Kevin_Z

i purchase the router in nov 20 .

Recently i upgraded my plan to 200mbps from 100mbps and since then there has been this issue

The laptop is connected to lan 3 port and as u can see in ss attached that it shows negotiation speed at 1000mbps full duplex but still it get stuck around 100mbps.I have tried changing the cables too but no result.

I directly connected my modem to laptop and i could the get speed around 200 mbps but when connecting the modem and router the problem arises.

@Kevin_Z I've encountered similar issue with the AX11000 and wifi speed on multiple occasions. The only method to fix the problem is to completely reset both the modem and router. When it's working well, I can receive the paid-for speeds of 500mb, but if it gets stuck at 100 for any reason, only a full hard reset will fix the problem. The issue is not resolved by restarting the router, and the router fails to connect to the modem after a hard reset. For me, the only way to fix the problem is to completely reset the modem and router. I'm in the United Kingdom, and I'm using Virgin Media's Hub 3.

@cooking By reset you mean restore to factory or are you just rebooting both the modem and router.

I just got this to replace my Linksys and I have this dreaded 1/2 speed on the upload issue.

Literally can swap my cables back to my linksys and get full U/D on both but on the AX11000 My uplead gets cut by 70% to 300mb.

If this is what I'm in for then back to Costco this thing is going...lol
