Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 Build 20160726 Rel. 41918

I connected a Ethernet cable to my C20 and my modem. The C20 didn't and doesn't know, that a modem is connected. It seems like there is an error. Please Help me tp-link!

It is a Speedport Smart 3 from "Deutsche Telekom" . But I checked all ports, and I found the following problem: It wasn't in a LAN port yet. So, I solved that.

Check your C20 Internet port status:

If C20 Internet port states Unplugged even the cable to the modem is connected, then use another cable CAT 5E/6 or another modem LAN port to connect.

Then observe the C20 internet port status again.

But I'm on an older page. I'm lucky that I'm using the Tether app.

No, it doesn't look like this. It is the EU version.

Use a computer browser to access the router settings.

If that's not your router interface a screenshot would be helpful to determine your device model and HW version - here's how can you do that.

Or you can see that here:

I updated the firmware information in the post. The information is from the Tether app, so it's the the version name is exactly.

That's so, because i can't access the information from the computer directly. I tried every single browser as good as possible, but it won't work.

OK So it's an Archer C20 v2 EU FW (there's no newer version).

What's your modem make and model ? Can you see the modem LAN port status where the C20 is connected ?

Have you tried to use a different ethernet cable between the modem and the C20 ?

If the issue persists try using another modem LAN port (if possible) to connect to C20.

A screenshot of the WAN port of C20 would be helpful too to determine its status.
