The ethernet cable supplied fits the router but not the Broadband outlet from BT Openreach - where do I source an adapter?
Deco units come with standard Ethernet cable. You may be trying to plug it to telephone port of your BT box, instead of Ethernet port. Telephone and Ethernet ports look alike, but telephone port is slightly smaller and can't fit Ethernet cable.
Try different port on your BT box, and check labels on ports. If label says TEL, that is not the right port.
