Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my adapter. I tried to message the tech support, but I never got an answer :I .For some reason, my WiFi signal gets really weak. While playing games and calling, the connection gets horrible. I tried forcing the adapter to stay on 5GHz which doesn't do much, so I want to try and force it to use 2.4.

I was looking at a wifi usage graph in the task manager, and the wifi seems to be spiking and dropping so much. Maybe the adapter is switching between 2.4 and 5 GHz when I have the preference set to auto? That is about the only logical conclusion I can come to because this rarely ever happens.

I also tried a wifi speed test, with 60MB download, 30MB upload. WiFi router and adapter are both new, not older than two years.

Would be great if someone could help.

You could check if router have any settings for clients to choose a preferable band, if not, please use different SSIDs for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, and delete the 5Ghz wifi profile on your computer. If PC does not save the 5Ghz wireless profile/ authentication, it will not roam between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

If possible, you could locate router closer to computer using T4U Plus, and also make sure other devices could get stable Internet at the same location.

You could also the latest chipset driver for T4U (Plus) see if it helps with the performance:
