Hi, welcome to the community.

I might need to follow up on your case via email, and please check later whether you have got an email from me.

By the way, may I know your interment service provider?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @Kevin_Z

having same or similar issue. The only time i ever see this burst speed that may go over 400Mbs is if it's lucky enough to run a speed test from the router

ISP: Xfinity

Package: 1.2Gbs

Modem: Xfi Gateway

Router:

Firmware Version1.2.4 Build 20210719 rel.12163(5553)

Hardware Version:Archer AX6000 v1.0

I have

- adjusted every aspect of the QoS, application and device priority as well as the upload/download total speeds to match

- disabled firewall and antivirus on router

- manually swapped to 1000bms full duplex

- disabled 2.4ghz

- factory reset modem

- hook directly to Xfi gateway modem via ethernet and get well beyond the advertised speed

- hooked directly to Xfi wifi 5g and get nearly 1gbs speeds to phone

- everything slows to 300-500 Mbs soon as i hook up this router

For the amount of money spent on these things, I expect it to work much closer to advertised speeds. I am not sure i want to purchase another tplink product. I haven't had great luck with any of the products. including extenders, repeaters, routers etc

@robbiex

Sorry to hear that the speed is not good as expected with the AX6000. Please don't worry, we will look into it further and try to help you out.

Is this 300-500 Mbps the download speed or upload? Or both?

Are the QoS settings configured as described in this FAQ (Standard mode, no device in priority)? If possible, we would suggest resetting the AX6000 to factory defaults, reconfiguring it from scratch to observe if it will make a difference. Please don't modify or change any advanced settings this time, especially the QoS.

If no luck, we would like to have a specialist look into this further via email. Please check your mailbox later, and let us know if the issue is resolved. Thank you!

@robbiex Thank you for confirming the settings. I thought you factory reset the modem but not the AX6000.

To better assist you, I've forwarded your case to the TP-Link support engineers, who will contact you with your registered email address later. Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up. Thank you.
