Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 4.17 v0001.0 Build 201214 Rel.42010n(5553)

Hi All,

Its been 2 months i purchased TP-LINK router and since starting i'm facing same issue whenever i use 2.4G WiFi my internet works very very slow or it stops working but 5G network works totally fine, in starting i didn't observe this as router issue also i was using 5G only but now when i started using 2.4G network i realized its bug or hardware issue mostly on TP-link router.

I've also had conversation with technical team on call but they couldn't fix my issue, I've already done all kind of troubleshooting like firmware update, device reset, channel, mode and channel width modification but nothing resolved this issue.

I think mostly customers are facing this type of issues with 2.4G network and can anyone help to resolve the same or let me know the return process for getting refund.

Firmware Version:0.9.1 4.17 v0001.0 Build 201214 Rel.42010n(5553)

Hardware Version:Archer C20 v5 00000005

Thanks in advance.

Can we confirm if this is an EU version? Please verify this by checking the device label, thanks.

And when the 2.4G stops working, are you able to see it on the devices? Can you connect it back?

How many devices are connecting to the 2.4G network, are they all experiencing the same issue at the same time? How did you recover the connection?

@Kevin_Z

It's US model and I am getting issues for all devices connected to 2.4G network but everything works fine on 5G network. I can connect 2.4G network but internet doesn't work at all, facing issues with internet speed also sometimes it gets disappeared..

when I compared ping responses between 2.4G and 5G I observed very high response on 2.4G sometime it goes till 1900ms which is causing internet speed also I checked connected device on router through wireless statistics but sometime device gets disconnected auto and reconnected back.

I am sure support team is already aware of this bug as this is same issue everyone posted on forum for different different model.

Hoping for permanent resolution.

Thanks in advance

Also I tried everything as mentioned earlier as troubleshooting part so nothing worked for me and for now I am using only 5G network only sometime 2.4G works well after rebooting device but not for long 5mins or 10mins so it's permanent issues for me.
