Model: TD-W9960
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v009d.0 Build 201016 Rel.78709n

I needed a simple VDSL modem to connect to my Linux router/DCHP/firewall/app server/...
Just got a brand-new W9960 and defined it to be in bridge mode.

The stats page of the modem shows
- modulation type "VDSL2"
- Annex type  "auto"
-  ~40Mb/s downstream speed
- Errors - zero
but the download speed of the whole system is 2Mb/s.

I get the same 2Mb/s if I used the Windows dialer with the modem in bridge mode, so it's not my Linux.
So it looks like the bridge mode is f...ked up.

The EXACT same setup works perfect with a different VDSL modem (much older Vtech one) - 37Mb/s.
Any idea?

Edit:
Talked to the vendor - he asked me to return the product.
Probably a bad unit.
