brother printer mfc-j985dw wireless connection to acher ax10 (ac1500)
hello
i tried to connect my brother printer mfc-j985dw to the acher ax10 (ac1500) but faild both in wlan and lan
the printer connects to any other router but this ax10
i tried to connect it to the 2.4/5 network
to the 2.4 network
and to the cable lan
all these failed
i think there is something in the router that blocks the printer from connecting.
does anyone has an idea of how to solve it?
thank you

When you connect the printer to the AX10 with cable, or connect it to the 2.4G network, what is the IP address it gets from the router? Ensure it is in the same IP subnet as the router, let's say, if the IP address of the AX10 is 192.168.0.1, the IP of the printer should also be 192.168.0.x (x can be 100-254).
If the printer has got the correct IP address from the router, please try to do a ping test from a computer in the same network as follows, ping the IP address of the printer, then show us the result:

Once enabled the Smart Connect on the router, you can only see one SSID for the 2.4G and 5G network, can you please confirm if you can still see that network on the phones? Can we also have the brand and model of those phones that no longer work?
How about other devices, like laptops, are they still working and connecting to the network fine?
Try to disable the Smart Connect, check again if the phones can connect back to the network, then show us the wireless settings on the router about the 2.4G and 5G wireless settings, you may cover the SSID and password for any security concerns.

hello
the 2.4/5 network can be seen in the phones. choosing this network results in a try to connect and a failur.
model: realme x50 pro 5g.
all other devices can connect to the 2.4/5 network.
tried multiple times: disable, forget network, smart/divided network, restart, shutdown... same result.
thank you

Does this realme x50 pro 5g connect to the 5G or 2.4G network, or it can connect neither of them?
What if you disable the Smart Connect, will it connect back?

Hi, can you confirm if it can connect when disabling the Smart Connect on the router? Does this realme x50 pro 5g can connect to other networks at the moment?
If possible, you may try to reset the router to factory defaults to exclude any possible settings that forbid the phone to connect, then check again.

hello
the phone connects to any network easily. the only problem is now with the smart connect 2.4/5.
when disabeling smart connect the phone can connect to 2.4 or 5. but when smart connect is on the phone cannot connect to the 2.4/5 network - this happened only after i succeeded with connecting the printer to the router.

Please update the AX10 firmware to the latest version, you can check for the updates on the Tether app or web GUI of the router, or you can download the latest firmware from the TP-Link official website:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-ax10/v1/#Firmware
How to upgrade the router firmware manually? Check this: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2139/.
Then try to reset the router, reconfigure it from scratch to confirm if the printer and phone can connect properly.
