Hello All,

I'm currently running into a problem where the 2.4Ghz band is not working properly. Sitting right beside the router the speeds on the 2.4Ghz are very poor roughly 1 Mbps where the 5Ghz band is providing the expected speeds of around 50Mbps.

I understand that the 2.4 ghz band does have lower speeds than 5ghz at shorter ranges but the cap is normally around 100 mbps for 2.4 GHz.

I have attempted a reboot and tested this on multiple devices with no improvement.

Thanks!

@DoubleMaverick

Here's a simple example of 2.4 GHz settings:

It's quite possible that the 2.4 GHz band around you is highly congested. You can check that by installing an app like Wi-Fi Analyzer on your phone or laptop and test:

What you can do is to set a channel with less congestion according to the test results.
