Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Has any got any idea where I can get 12 volt 1.2 amp USB C charger for a Deco M5?  Lost.

I've even offered to buy one from TP-Link but they don't have any.

TIA

@Fejjie

These should not be hard to find, you can use any adapter that is 12V and 1.2A or over and it should work with 12V/1.2A Deco.

Example: Wall Charger, Excgood USB Power Adapter 18W (12V 1.5A)

Did not take me long to find compatible adapter at Amazon.co.uk

BENSN 24W Adjustable Charger Power Supply DC Adjustable 5V 6V 7V 8V 9V 10V 11V 12V 13V 14V 15V - 20V,with 9 Connectors and Reverse Polarity Cable,Universal Transformer Power Adapter Plug.

Not necessarily the cheapest one, but it does exist.

Yes. Just copy and paste description I provided to amazon.co.uk search, find that charger, choose 24W model, scroll down and review list of interchangeable connectors.

They are all micro USB bit I have realised that I can get a micro to C adapter. Unless you can point out a specific one that includes one. Cheers for that though.

Link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Z3TG769

Picture of connectors available for 24W model:

Their cheaper 17W and 12W models don't come with USB-C connector, you'll need to get 24W model if you go with this brand.

What I like about this specific brand is that there is nothing to auto-negotiate, you will set 12V output manually. Thus, avoiding potential issues of negotiation incompatibility between charger and Deco M5.

>I have realised that I can get a micro to C adapter

Yes, this can work, too. Make sure that charger with micro-USB connector has 12V output and at least 15W.

If you are going to buy charger and they list wattage, it must be at least 15W, and with 12V output. (12V*1.2A = 14.4W, rounded up to 15W)

Also, check in your household, you might already have smartphone or tablet charger that can work with Deco M5 V1. You will need one with output of exactly 12V and 1.2A or above, meaning 1.5A, 2A, 3A and so on can do just fine.
