HI guys,

I am new to the forums, but has anyone setup DECO S4's behind a DSL modem? I have set them up behind a arris surfboard, but for some reason I am having issues getting this to stay connected to a DSL modem.

Diagram roughly goes:

Telephone line --->DSL MODEM (Wifi Off only, no other changes) ---> DECO Mesh

Could use any advice on configuration of the DSL modem (General stuff, not specific to model is fine) or how to configure the DECO for DSL better...

Hi, the setup with DSL modem is almost the same as cable modem;

So after that setup, did you mean the main Deco would turn red from white sometimes, or you failed to set it up with the DSL modem and the Deco stayed on red all the time?

@TP-Link yes. I think I found the problem. It was trying to use the same ip address as the modem. I changed it to .2 and it has been working since.
