[New Firmware] Onemesh firmware for Archer AX11000
Update on June 15, 2021:
The new official Onemesh firmware for Archer AX11000 is available now, please check for the updates on the router web GUI or Tether app in one day or two for the new update. You can also download the new firmware from TP-Link official website, and install it manually:

We understand you have been waiting for the Onemesh firmware for Archer AX11000 for long, here comes with the beta version. You can manually update your router firmware if you would like to implement the Onemesh with some existing range extenders.

We hope you could help provide some details about the network layout, which will help us to understand your usage better:
1. What is the model number of the range extender that you want to add to the AX11000 Onemesh network? How many extenders?
2. How large of the house, how are the AX11000 and the range extenders located, are all on the same floor, or on different floors?
3. How about the Onemesh network performance? Is it as good as expected?

Something else that might help. Found out why I can't login to the RE605X tplinkCloud anymore. I bound it to 192.168.0.2 and it won't let me login when I now use that IP address.
Change the Network Settings to something else like 192.168.0.4 and et voila, login to TPLink Cloud on the device now works .
Bit odd as it now means I can never use 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.0.3 for any TPlink device as it was the previous RE605X's setups and won't allow cloud logins from those IPs anymore.
I also didn't realise that was the case for WPS so have simply used WPA/WPA2 mode instead:
Wireless Settings:
OFDMA/SMART/Radio all enabled
Security: WPA/WPA2
Version: WPA2-PSK
Encryption: AES
Power: High
Additional settings:
WMM = on
Short GI = on
AP isolation = off
Airtime fairness = off
zero wait DFS = on
The actual internet is still stable from a network POV, now it's 36hours or so and counting with just 1 node being used.

Again, I will get back with a longer post in a day or two, as I still need some time to test certain more general wi-fi settings in order to reach a more or less reliable conclusion regarding OneMesh.
However, thank you for confirming that binding the RE505X's/RE605X's IP makes it impossible to log in to Cloud. But the moment you unbind the IP, you can log in again. I have reported the issue in the present thread, and also here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/216690?page=1, so far no response.

You folks that are having connectivity issues have you scanned to see what channels are being used? Is it using DFS channels? You could lose those if you have radar in you area.
Also have you checked to see what channels your nieghbors are using. When set to auto the TP-Link router is terrible at picking uncongested channels. It tends to pick channels everyone else is using. Choose you channels manually.
If you have a android there is a tool called Wi-Fi analyzer that does a good job showing channels used.

Thanks for stressing the importance of channel selection.
I've set all three bands to tried and trusted channels which are free from interference but I still get disconnections (on extended 2.4 GHz) regardless.
As a side note, I do use DFS channels for both 5 GHz bands, however these are stable and strong.

@xokia As I previously explained, I am now using 3 completely free channels, my issue has nothing to do with channel interference. Moving from 2x RE605X's back to only 1x RE605X (with all the SAME settings) seems to have worked for me. Now about 48hours later and stable internet - no dropouts, no 2.4G loss, no deadspots

I've been changing channels and bands for weeks now and the initial change corrected signal strength, range and network speed after each reboot for a maximum of 48 hours and then the network just falls apart.
Now the interesting thing is that I haven't posted my findings for a while because I was testing the reliability including remote access and I think I've solved my issue.
I'm now over a week with a stable network, it's not the fastest but it is stable and it appears to be reliable at the moment.
The issue I noticed was that the main router AX11000 was on the correct time but each of the RE505X's were 1 hour out due to the BST settings being wrong. So if you are in the UK then please make sure that all of the devices have correct time on them.
This could be a red herring but I'm hoping an engineer will tell me that the time has to be the same on each device for handshaking and data logging etc.
Anyway its made a difference for me so I'm running with it :-)
Keep testing and feeding back together we may get this solved.

Yep, great call, I did that too - everything that is connected is set to DST "last Sunday March and October".
Meanwhile I have been in contact with the Engineering dept and have access to a (windows) laptop they can safely access so hopefully if we can sync a time to do this, I'll update everyone with what the result is. I did inform them that for 24hrs everything appeared to be OK so I'm hoping the gremlins reappear when they troubleshoot.

Morning everyone.
I've been following this thread since the beginning and holding off adding the RE605X to my AX11000 setup just yet, as I had concerns around stability. I currently run a beta firmware (not OneMesh compatible) as I had issues with the radios restarting etc. - hence my cautiousness to alter the setup.
The TLDR seems to be (from my perspective) that adding one extender to the OneMesh system is pretty stable on the beta firmware if you go with factory reset and default settings, but if you add a second extender, it starts to become less reliable?

(I am confident they'll be able to iron out any issues with time but currently using 1 seems to be a safe bet)

Not meaning to upset you but the number of extenders is not always a precipitating factor. I myself have had 2.4 GHz link rate and speed drops irrespective of whether I had one or two RE505Xs in OneMesh.
However, one thing that I have observed recently is that changes in settings such as OFDMA, Airtime Fairness and Zero Wait DFS bring about a startling improvement in stability. I'm still testing with my config, but I should be able to present my "findings" (for what they're worth) by Friday.
And I have the time synced on the AX11000 and both RE505Xs, so that doesn't seem to play a part in my scenario.
